Front Yard Staging

Front Yard Staging Front yard staging is the best way to enhance the curb appeal of your home and make would-be buyers truly fall in love with the idea of living on your salable property. The front yard is the first thing buyers will see when they come to view your residence and will set the tone for their entire experience inside the home. Make sure to do everything possible to insure that this experience will be a good one, by creating an enticing look to the front of your home using the simple advice contained in this article.

What is Front Yard Staging?

Staging the front yard is a real estate marketing strategy which will help to create a positive impression of the property and draw buyers into an emotional connection with your house. The front yard is crucial, since it is the “face” of your home, which is visible to the outside world and all who pass by. Creating an idyllic environment in the frontal aspect of your property can be achieved using a wide range of easy home staging ideas. Luckily, most exterior home staging projects do not need to be expensive and many make for perfect sweat equity projects.

Front Yard Staging Tips

The following are some of my personal recommendations for home staging tips which are ideally suited to the front yard:

* Begin by removing any dead trees, shrubs and flowers and cleaning out the yard of all unaesthetic items. Replant and replace any landscaping features which need attention and plant fresh and colorful flowers in high visibility areas.

* Paint the railings and other external fixtures on the front of your home. Be sure to coordinate the address numbers, the mailbox and a decorative accessory or 2 near the door for a polished and perfect look.

* Keep the grass cut and green.

* Check the exterior of the house for signs of disrepair. Fix any problematic issues, with the windows, siding, stucco, shutters or gutters. Keep the garbage cans in a dedicated shed, never on the side of the house.

* Clean the yard daily to remove any garbage or debris which may accumulate.

Front Yard Staging Advice

If you set the stage just right, then people will want to come to the performance. Of course, the interior of the house is the star of the show, but no one will ever meet this star if the theater is so unappealing that they do not bother to come inside…

Market the entire property, beginning with the front yard, to insure that even the most demanding buyers will be awe-struck with desire for your house.
